N is for Nothing

The A-Z Blogging Challenge is up to the letter N and N is for nothing.

Don't you just love it when you have nothing to worry about, nothing to complain about and nothing wrong with your world?

Yeah, I know. That never happens!

But still, just think about it. It ain't that bad, right?

You have enough to eat--some of us too much!--, you have clothes on your back, you have friends and family who care about you and wish you well and you have a warm, comfortable home.

Heck, you can even go to Disney World once in a while.

So, really, nothing is something to strive for, don't you think?

Of course, if you have nothing to be sad or mad about, it is likely you also have nothing to be happy or glad about either. What good is that?

Hmm, guess it's all in how you look at nothing, huh?

  1. Your photo of Disney World brings back horrible memories of a ride I was on there where they kept singing It's a Small World over and over and over and over in many different languages. Let's just say it's not a fun ride. I had to ride the Mattahorn 3 times to get that song out of my head.

  2. As long as our minds are working, we are busy being sad, glad, productive, lazy, worried, loving, not so loving, smart, grateful, ungrateful, in other words---human.

  3. Nothing is a relative term, you're right, Glory, it's all in how you look at it! We got 6" of snow last night, that was nothing if not annoying, and it sure slowed down spring....no gardening, nothing doing...
ON the other hand, it gives me time to get happy and do other stuff! See? How cool is that? ":))
