Recall if you will, my pin oak with the bi-colored leaves. Only one side of this tree turned a bright burgundy. Well, it took some time, but the rest of the green eventually turned too. Took long enough!
Odd thing is the green didn't turn burgundy to match the other side. Some of the leaves turned yellow and the others to an orange color.
Bizarre! Well, that's what my tri-colored Pin Oak tree decided to do this autumn and who am I to complain about it?
